You can group your Activity Formats online into Groups making it much easier for your customers to find and book the activity that suits them when they are making a web booking.
To create and configure your Activity Format Groups head to Venue Settings, select the venue and click on the new Activity Format Groups tab at the top of the screen. You can then edit an existing group by clicking on it or create a new one with the “Add activity format group” button at the top.
Give the group a Name and set the Sequence number, which is the order where each group would appear on the online booking website, with the lower numbers appearing first.
Under Website Description you can add information about what activities this group contains and choose its appearance online. You can then choose the background colour of the frame. You can then enter the description in the box below. You can add more specific formatting options if required like bold or italic texts, font colour, lists etc using the buttons in the tool bar. You can then add an image to go along side your group. This needs to be a minimum of 400 pixels wide up to a maximum of 800 pixels. It looks best if all of groups image sizes or ratios (i.e., 4:3) match. If you no longer need a group, you can tick Archive to hide the group. Click the Save to update or create the group. |
You can access the activity group selection page by going to https://flow.alphatiming.co.uk/***/book (where *** is your Venue’s unique link) which will show the groups. Clicking a group will take you to the existing products page, filtered to the selected group. If you want the booking flow to start at this page, please change the links on your website.
The old link https://flow.alphatiming.co.uk/***/book/products will still work and it will show all activities that have been enabled for Web Booking.
You can also deep link to just the activities within a group by deep linking to by adding ?__ag= and the Groups ID to the end of your unique https://flow.alphatiming.co.uk/***/book/products link.
The Group ID is shown at the top of the screen when you edit a group.
So to deep link direct to the Arrive and Drive group the link referring to a website’s “Book Arrive & Drive” would be:
