The Point of Sale is used whenever a bill is being created or edited. Bills are created when ever a Product is sold, including Activities and Vouchers. During a booking if you click edit bill or the Payment button you will be show the Point of Sale connected to that bill and customer.

You can start a new bill or search for one that has already been created by clicking Point of Sale in the navigation menu on the left.

You will need to create a new bill, if a customer buys a product not connected to an event booking. To do this click the green  New Bill  button to load a new bill.

Product categories that have been set to show on the Point of Sale will be shown next to the Bill. This is configured in the Product Categories in Venue Settings.

You can also add Fees and Discounts to a bill here too.

Click on a category and then click on the image of a product shown on the right to add the item to the bill.

When the bill is complete, click the Payment button to record a payment.

Type in the amount or use the blue (1) coloured numbers on the left (which are common denominations of banknotes).

There is also the All (2) button which will add the total balance - useful in this example when customers are paying in full.

The 1/2 or 1/3 (3buttons are used to split a payment in half or into thirds respectively. Pressing the 1/n button will divide by that quantity and the % (4) button will show that percentage of a payment, useful when inputting part payments or deposits.

On the far right are the payment methods. (5) Select a payment method to record the payment, which will then be shown on the bill under the “Payments” heading.

If change is due this will be shown in orange above the keypad. When finish click close to close the payment input.

When you are finished you can click the Done button to close the bill. You can also process Refunds and Voids here too.

If connected to a receipt printer then a receipt should print each time a bill's balance is zero. You can print a receipt at any time by clicking the Print button.

Certain payment methods can be configured to automatically open the cash draw (if attached). To open the draw manually use the Open button.
