Customer Database

The Customer Screen lists all of your customers. Customers are created when using the diary to create an event or by starting a new Bill on the POS screen. They are also created automatically whenever a person registers for an event at your venue.

A long the top of the customer screen you will see some counters. These show the total number of customers in your database, the amount of unique visitors for the current month and the amount of unique visitors from the previous month. If the data is available it will also show the counters of visitors from the previous year too.

The search box allows you to search for a customer by their name, email address or a company name—even with just partial letters i.e. Joh Smi will still find John Smith.

If you click advanced search you can filter your results depending on the customer’s marketing preferences, tags you may have added to a customer, their last visit, when they were created or by the amount of times they have visited.

Click the search button to see your results. You will be shown a list of matching results with their contact details plus when their last booking and event was, the number of events they have attended, when they were created, any tags plus their marketing consent.

There is a Save as Excel button at the bottom of the screen where you can export the results as a Comma Separated Value file (.csv) - but be aware that the more results you have, the longer it will take to export.

Clicking a customer’s name will bring up all the details recorded about a customer including: Address, Emergency Contact, Credit, Events, Registrations, Results, Payments and any emails they have been sent. In the top right is an Edit button where you can edit the customers contact details and marketing preferences as well as add tags. There is also a space for you to write notes about the customer too.
