This article explains how to set up the General Settings for you activity formats. Please make sure you have read the Activity Formats article before following the advice on this page.

You need to give your activity a name. Try to be specific and not use “Karting” or “Paintballing” including things like duration or track layout. This will be used in the dropdown when creating manual bookings and also be the title of the activity on the Web Booking pages.

Add a short description of the activity here, which may be included on auto-generated emails.

You can then set the default colour for the activity in the diary.

Sequence is the order it would appear in the online booking diary, with the lower numbers appearing first.

Min Places for an exclusive booking is the minimum amount of people needed make it a private or exclusive event. If an event is exclusive it will not be shown on the online availability and will be one solid colour in the diary.

Shared events will have a gradient of colour that moves from left to right depending on the remaining spaces left in the activity.

Set the relevant waivers and terms for the activity while registering (for all participants) and whilst booking.

You can override the arrival time of an activity here for example with activities that need less or more preparation. You must fully type the time so for 30 mins enter 00:30 and for an hour type 01:00.

Do the same if you need override what time this activity can be scheduled e.g. 00:10 if you want it every 10 mins after opening i.e. if you open at 10:00, the activity can be scheduled at 10:10, 10:20 etc.

Clicking Archive hides the activity from the booking system.
