The Alpha Timing app comes with a live timing web page. Head to a club's or venue's Results page and if a session is running, it will be flagged as "Live". Click the "Live Timing" button to go straight to the live timing page or on the Event page, clicking a live session will automatically take you to the Live Timing page.
The live timing page will show the session status and countdown counter at the top of the screen. The name of the session will show in the top left with three buttons on the right hand side.
In a web browser the leaderboard will take up approximately 75% of the screen with the other showing the track map, event information and then messagess below.
In the Racehub App or in mobile version, the screen will be divide into 3 separate tabs, the Leader board showing the lap times, the circuit map and finally the messages and info panels.
The leaderboard will show the position on the left followed by the competitors' or entrants race number and name. Depending on the information available, this will also display their Class, Novice Status, Team, Engine manufacturer, Engine Builder/Tuner, Chassis and nationality.
Then it will show the following timing data in columns
- BEST - their best lap with the number of the lap this was set on.
- LAST - their last lap time.
- BEHIND - how far they are behind the leader
- LAPS - how many laps they have completed
- GAP - the gap between them and the competitor in front, plus a delta time of the gap.
- S1, S2 etc - their sector one, two etc. time.
- PS - the number of pit stops for the competitor
- TT - their track time since their last pit stop
- GRID - their position on the grid, plus the number of position changes
The lap times and timing information is coloured accordingly.
44.033 - a track/class record
45.300 - the session's best time
45.360 - a time that is improving or faster
46.024 - a time that is not improving or slower
46.024 - a time that is old or from the previous lap.
The track map will show the circuit name and the approximate position of competitors, based on their current lap delta.
Below this will be any event information like the weather, track conditions and event staff. This will also show the sessions best lap information and if available, the sector times and ultimate laptime.

Below this will be any messages from the timing app. This will included the race start time and some important messages that have been shown to competitors.
The buttons in the top right have the following functions.
