The Event Details screen

The Event Details screen allows the event parameters to be set, various reports printed and tasks performed. The screen is divided into four sections. 


Event Details section

The top left Event Details section allows things like the event start and end date, Event name and track layout to be changed. The default report header and footer are configured on the promoter settings screen, but can be changed for an individual event on this screen. This allows a special header or footer to be used for a specific event. There are also options for the results website upload options, competitor type settings and the event officials.


Classes

Below the Event Details section the Classes section. This section allows the class details to be amended, including changing the championship if the incorrect one was selected when creating the event, and to add any classes not included when the event was initially created. Click the "+Add class" button to manually add a class or tick the pencil icon next to an existing class to edit it. 


Reports

On the right hand side is a list of reports that can be printed. The following reports are available by clicking the relevant button in this section:

  • Competitor List
    This will print a list of competitors in the event, split by class.
  • Heat Grids
    This gives you the option to print the grids for all heats/races or just the remaining heats/races. These can be full grids (each race to a page) or a summary grid (all grids on one page). 
  • Session Results
    This will print the results of all the sessions that have been issued. 
  • Competitor Results
    This will print a report for each competitor and can be restricted to each class and a particular session(s). You can also choose whether to show the results in order of finishing position or numerical order and whether to remove sector times.
  • Event Best Laptimes
    This shows the competitors best laptime over the whole event.
  • Hired Transponders
    This report is only used for Club racing to show which competitors have hired  a transponders. 
  • Trophies
    The trophy report can show you which competitors are to be awarded a trophy. You can specify the number of positions to offer trophies and include one for best laptime in class.
  • Bumper non compliance
    If running detachable front fairing, you can print a bumper non-compliance report to simplify the scrutineering team’s task of identifying those drivers with detached fairing.  
  • Event Schedule
    The event schedule will print of the session list with their approximate start times.
  • Penalties
    This gives you a report of all penalties issued in the event. 
  • Notifications
    After selecting the required session(s) will produce a report of all messages displayed on the eFlag. 


Tasks

The bottom right section shows a set of tasks that can be performed by clicking the relevant button in this section: 

  • Adjust session start times
    Once the sessions have been created, the session list order can be changed by typing in a new time or can be dragged up and down into the correct order. 
  • Adjust Session Durations
    This will allow you to clickily change any untimed session duration
  • Set Race numbers
    If you have multiple heats or races in your session list you can re-number the races here
  • Upload Results
    Results are uploaded automatically when issued, however if you wanted to do it manually you can do this here and by a specific session. 
  • Export results
    This creates a .csv (Comma Separated Value) file of the issued results.
  • Complete Event
    This will complete all of the sessions in an event and send the Results email to  competitors. 
  • Import Competitors
    This allows you to import a competitor list from file.
