Competitors have been imported to the wrong class

If you have imported your competitors into the Timing application and run an invent but realised the competitors are in the wrong class, this article will explain how to fix it. 


STEP 1: To get the drivers into the right classes you need to import a new event. Do not overwrite the original event and preferably set this import to a different date and name than the actual event so as not to be confused. 


STEP 2: Set the new event as a non championship race but make sure both events are using the same championships for the correct classes. 


STEP 3: In the original event, go to the competitors screen and tick the drivers that are now in the right classes. DO NOT untick the other drivers.


STEP4: In each session of the original event, double click each driver and click the change driver button.  Use this to select the driver from the correct class, then once all drivers have been done, re-issue the results.  Repeat for all of the other affected sessions.


STEP 5: Finally, go back to the competitors screen and untick the drivers in the wrong classes.
