Notes can be added in the centre column and the user who wrote them is recorded along with the date and time.
There are two types of notes: Internal notes not shown to the customer and Customer notes, which can be included in booking emails with the corresponding tag in the email template.
To add notes for the customer, click the Edit button. You will then be able to type your message into the pop out box. To add internal notes to a booking, type into the Internal notes / history box and click Save. These will always stay at the top of the list. Notes entered here are specific to each booking, so clicking onto another booking will display different notes. Within the Internal notes / history box you will also see an audit trail. An entry will be made for every interaction with the booking along with the user making the alteration and a time stamp. If the transaction was completed online, the User Name will be replaced with “Online Booking”. | ![]() |
Notes can be added to an activity rather than an individual booking. To do this, click the Details tab, then click on the Activity:
Then click the link to + Add activity notes:
