Editing an Event

Modified on Wed, 28 Sep, 2022 at 5:18 PM

If you need to make some changes to an Event, i.e. like changing its name you can find this under the details tab (circled) on the session. From the details tab you can:

  • Change the Event’s Name
  • Change the colour the Event appears in the diary
  • Change the activity
  • Change the event duration
  • Change whether it is a shared or exclusive event
  • Change the maximum number of participants
  • Change the Product or Quantity of Products per customer

To change and Event's name simply re-type the text in the Event Name box.

Selecting a colour from the colour picker will change the colour of the session as it appears in diary from the Activity Format's default colour.

If you need to make changes to the Activity, click the name or resource of the activity.

You can then choose from the list of activities or the variation within the activity (if configured).

Note: This will not change the duration of the activity. You will need to check the time in the diary is available and then adjust accordingly so bookings do not overlap.

Do not use this function to move a booking to a new date. Use the Reschedule button on the bill.

You can also add Activity Notes, which will show in the notes field for all bookings in the event. See Notes for more information.

Click the green or red button to switch between Exclusive or a Shared Activity. Activities marked as a shared activity will allow other customers to book into this activity.

If necessary you can override the maximum participants in a shared activity.

If there are multiple products or prices for an activity, you can also change them here.

Once you have made your changes, click save or click cancel to disregard any changes.
