Registering your race team

As a team owner, you can add details of your race team to our system. Once this is done, your drivers will be able to select your team when entering events, and your team will show up on live timing and session results.

To register your team, there's a special URL for each club/series. https://[clubname].alphatiming.co.uk/register/companies - you only need to register your team once, so you can do this as any club/series where your team competes. Substitute [clubname] for the name of your club/series.

To access this page, you must be logged in. If you don't already have an Alpha account, you'll be prompted to create one when accessing the above page. There's a 'forgot password?' option as well if you've forgotten your password.

Once you've logged in, access https://[clubname].alphatiming.co.uk/register/companies and complete the form:

• 'Race Team Name' is the name of your team which will be shown publicly on results and entry lists. It's also what your competitors see when they're selecting your team as part of their entry.
• Primary Contact Name and Contact number are also mandatory fields. These are not shown publicly, but are available to club administrators.
• If you upload your logos, we'll be able to show them on our live timing and TV overlays.

Once you've registered your team, please let your clubs know. Each club has full control over which teams can be selected when entering their events, so your team will only show if the club administrator has enabled your team. 

Please note: if your team participates at events governed by Motorsport UK, your team will only be available to select by competitors if Motorsport UK have added details of your entrant licence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why isn't my team showing on the public entry list?

If no teams are showing on the public entry list, it's because your club has chosen not to show the race team field. If other teams are showing but yours is not, it's because no competitors have selected your team when entering.

Why can't competitors select my team?

If your team isn't available to competitors, it's because the club has not enabled it. First, visit https://[clubname].alphatiming.co.uk/register/companies (substituting [clubname] with the name of the club) and check that you've added your team. If you're happy your team details are present and correct, please contact the club's administrator and ask them to enable your team. 

Remember: if your team participates at events governed by Motorsport UK, your team will only be available to select by competitors if Motorsport UK have added details of your entrant licence.
