Form Builder

With the Form Builder you can create bespoke entry forms that can be tailored to fit your event. You can give them unique names and it will show you when it was updated (which adds to the version number) and by who plus the number of upcoming events that are using the specific entry form.


To find the Form Builder, click Account in the Settings menu on the left.


Then from the Account settings page, click the Form Builder heading at the top.


Click the blue  + New Form button to create a new form. 


There are three types of Entry Form on the system. 

  • Event Entry - this will be used by competitors to collate information relating to the event it is being used for.
  • Championship Entry - this will be used by competitors to register into a class for the first time in a season. It is only used for the first time a competitor registers in that class. 
  • Staff Event Entry - this will be used by officials, marshal and media personnel to collate information relating to the event it is being used for.


You do not need to create a form for each event or championship. The forms can be used for multiple events. However if an event requires specific questions, a separate form can be created i.e. an Entry form for Test days versus Race days. 


Currently there are two sections to an entry form:


  • Generic Section
    This is required for all forms and collects the person/vehicle details etc.
  • Additional Drivers - only for competitor event entries.
    Use this to capture additional drivers for an entry e.g. at a test day, team events, co-drivers

Each section can be given it’s own title and a short description before choosing a field to add to that section.


Creating a New Form

The top of the form shows the form type and below it the version number. The box below allows you to change the entry forms name.


This is a generic section of the form that has been given the title “Your Kart”. The race number field and vehicle details field have been added. You do not need to add your own questions here to collect the information about a competitors vehicle. Head to Account -> Class Setup, then go into each class to setup the Equipment Configuration for each class.



To add another field (e.g. transponder information) press the + new field button.


The field options are shown below. You can also add a custom field with a variety of inputs the customer can select.

Some fields that are added to the form will require the competitor to answer them before the entry is accepted e.g. Race number. However not all fields are compulsory and can be added as optional fields.


Each field can be moved up or down the entry form via the up/down arrows to change its order. To edit or delete a form click the pencil button. 

If you add the Team Name field the entry will automatically be classed as a team entry and the entry list will display only the Team Name. You will then need to add a new section to the entry form to capture the additional drivers/co-drivers competing in the team.


In this example there is then a new section titled “Additional Drivers”. You can edit the wording of this section including the name of the additional person e.g. Driver, Rider, Passenger, Navigator or Team Member. You can also set the minimum and maximum people they can add. The person submitting the Team is designated as the Team Captain and after the entry is accepted they can add more driver's to the entry by sending additional drivers a unique link.


To the right you will see “Upcoming Events” which shows the events the entry form is being used on. Each form can be specific to an event or specific to a class.

To save your form click the blue Save button at the bottom and your entry form will be ready to use.
