Account Settings

Administrators can access the Settings menu where you will see links for your, Venues, Account Settings, Users (of the system) and Declarations. Those who are not administrators will only be able to see the Manage menu. When setting your account up for the first time it is best to start with your Account Settings.


From the Account settings page, click the Settings heading at the top and then click the blue Edit Settings button. 


On the Account Settings page you can fill in the details about the account. This will include:

  • Contact details and the default email  address to use for system generated emails.
  • Your Data retention period (default is GDPR regulations). 
  • Sporting types, e.g. Karting, Motorcycling, Hill Climb etc.
  • Your accounting information and Tax/VAT rates. 
  • Transponder information (MyLaps/TAG)
  • Links for Live Timing, Results and Streaming
  • Miscellaneous settings like the wording in your unsubscribe message one emails, the information to display on your reports and Signing-on sheets i.e. Time Stamps, Licence Photos and name order.

 

Other Settings

Once complete you can then move onto the next sections within your Account's set up. These can be accessed via the following headings:

  • Database - this controls which information to store for each customer
  • Form Builder - the place to create entry forms for your system
  • Equipment - where you can add specific equipment requirements for your club
  • Email, Invoice and Waiver Templates - these are created by Alpha to apply your branding to an system generated content. Get in touch the with Support Team with any examples you might have so these can be created for you. 
  • Products - this is where you create the products you can sell on the system
  • Payment Methods - this controls your online payment gateway settings i.e. Stripe/PayPal
  • Third Party Integrations - this is where you configure any third party applications that work with the system i.e. Twilio SMS sender
  • Membership Types - this where you create your club memberships
  • Online Settings - this is where you configure the look of your Alpha system to your customers
  • Discounts - this controls what discount schemes you use on the system
  • T's & C's - this is where you record your terms and conditions of use of the system and GDPR information etc.
