Promoter Settings

The first time you use the Timing you will be prompted to complete your Promoter Settings. These are the settings that link to the results sites and live timing and will have been sent to you by the Support Team when setting up. Select the relevant settings, either Competiton Racing, Rental Karting or both and fill in the fields. 

The menus will expand or contract depending on the options you select. If you are not sure of any of the fields please get in contact with the Support Team. 

If you need to edit any of these settings, you can find them in the settings Module under the Promoters tab. If you have multiple promoters (i.e. you run Competition Karting and Rental Karting) you can choose which of your promoters to use as default. 

In the General section, there are some additional fields where you can include your promoter's contact details. The other fields will have been configured the first time you used the timing application and should not be adjusted without advice from the Support Team. 

Promoter Report Settings

In the reports settings, you can configure images to use on result printouts for the header and footer. You can also add promotional text and images, adjust when the header starts, and set the paper size.

Live Timing and Results Settings

The Live Timing and Results settings will have been configured the first time you used the timing application. These settings should not be adjusted without the advice of the Support Team. If you wish to disable the live timing this is done in Display Settings. If you do not want a particular session or event to appear on the Results website, this is configured in the Event itself. Please see the Timing an Event support article. 

Import Settings

The import settings again will have been configured the first time you used the timing application. These settings should not be adjusted without the advice of the Support Team, however the number of days to show previous and future events can be adjusted to your preferences. 

Owner-Driver Settings

For those who run competition racing there are also additional settings for creating Officials. In this section, you can create the Official's roles (i.e. Timekeeper, Clerk of the Course etc), create officials, add their signatures and set whose names to appear on the printed reports.
