Event Summary

The summary page is usually the first page you come to when opening an event and lists all classes available in the event. Each class has columns indicating the number of confirmed entries plus any entries that are pending (yet to be paid), the remaining spaces left in that class plus any that are on the reserve list or have been removed from the event. Clicking on a class will take you directly to that class's entry list.

At the top of the page, just under your event's name are some buttons to other settings and tools on the system. The Back button will return you to your event list page.

The Edit button will give you the following pages:

The Messages button on the Summary Page will give you the following options:

  • to message all classes in the event
  • to message all people NOT entered into this event
  • to Send the Signing-on Links to those who have not yet signed on.

Competitors can sign on whenever signing on has been opened. You can send them a reminder and a link directly to the signing on page to those who are yet to sign on.

If you are looking at a class entry list the Message button will give you the following options:

  • to message all in the selected class
  • to message all classes in the event (just as on the summary page)
  • to message all people NOT entered into this event (just as on the summary page)
  • to message all in the selected class NOT entered into this event
  • to message all those with unpaid invoices in the selected class
  • to message all those on the reserve list in the selected class
  • to Send the Signing-on Links to those who have not yet signed on in the selected class.

The tools button gives you the following options:

  • To Generate or Edit Grids
  • Manage Groups
  • Allocate Hire Transponders (the tx numbers are saved in your Account Settings)
  • Allocate race numbers (for when the competitor does not chose their race number)
  • Manage Invoices - this screen will show you all invoices for the event on one page.
  • Copy Event - this allows you to copy the event exactly as it is to a new date. It is even possible to copy the entries over (useful if you need to reschedule an event).

The Export button allows you to create an export of the entry data.

  • the Export for timing (Alpha) will create a file you can use to import into the Alpha Timing system, useful if your timing computer does not have access to the internet.
  • the Export for timing (Apex/Orbits) will create a Microsoft Excelâ„¢ file of your entry data that can be used with other timing software.
  • the Programme file exports just the Competitors information, including Class, Club, Race Number, Chassis/Engine, Town/City, Team and Nationality.
  • the export all the entry data including what is recorded on their scrutineering card.
